Your day begins in the heart of Matakana Wine Country, only only about 40 minutes from Mahurangi West Wing Bed & Breakfast. Here you meet your expert Marine Biology Guide over fresh coffee and delicious locally produced treats at the Village’s renowned Matakana Market Kitchen (MMK).
A short 10 minute drive along the picturesque Tāwharanui Peninsula takes us into the stunning Tāwharanui Open Sanctuary; boasting Auckland’s most beautiful 
white sand beaches, pristine waters and native coastal forest.
